La Carbonara - Swindon

As a family, we have supported this restaurant for years, so the level of service we received was incredibly disappointing, especially for a family-run business. I tried to contact the restaurant directly that night, only to be told, “we’re closed,” before the call ended abruptly. I followed up with a message on Facebook to express my frustration, but received a terse, rude, and unhelpful response claiming that no booking had been made! There was a noticeable lack of remorse for the predicament they had left us in, and I barely received an apology. This experience has completely changed my view of the restaurant and its management. I’m extremely disappointed, especially since our previous experiences there had been impeccable. I sincerely hope that anyone with upcoming reservations for special occasions does not have to go through what we did.

Once inside you could actually be in a lovely corner of Italy! The food is amazing and the Limincello at the end was the perfect finish. Great to be back!! Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The food was 2nd to none. The service was good from start to finish. I'm a smoker and I couldn't believe how comfortable they made the smoking shelter.
