Flavor On The Water - Sydney

Stopped in for lunch and were seated right away.I had the lobster eggs Benedict and it wasn’t that good. The lobster was tough and didn’t taste too fresh. The roasted potatoes weren’t roasted long enough.Service was good.Parking is easy.

Tried the special and it was large enough to be shared by four people. There was a good variety with lobster, fried fish, bacon wrapped scallops, crab cakes, and shrimp. We were seated outside which had a nice view but there was a very loud ship by the harbor. The service was ok which is understandable given the busy time and the staff were friendly.

Great service and a pleasant setting BUT if you choose vegetarian (tofu) and a salad choice be prepared to feel ripped off. A $20. Sandwich Meal option becomes 28. Really? Instead of chicken you charge for tofu? Shame on you for the money grab. A lovely evening turned sour.

First time visit. You would not normally consider port dining excellent dining. This is an exception. We had the fiddle burger and the lobster club. The lobster club with fries was excellent. The fiddle burger was a little dry but the fries were excellent. The service by Jackie was excellent. Also had a red wine sangria and a cosmo, both were good to excellent. Come enjoy the view, staff and food.

I ordered the seafood linguini. the pasta and sauce were incredible!!!! the shrimp and the garlic toast were the best!!!!! it was my first time trying mussels and bacon wrapped scallops and they were not my personal favorite but thats okay! i wanted to try something new. i ordered the blue hawaiian (tequila i think, blue curacao) and the hurricane (white rum, dark rum) cocktail, and i also had another cocktail of which i don't remember the name, but it was listed on the menu as a *fan favorite* and it WAS literally the most incredible drink. i wish i could have had three of those. it is the large pink one pictured below. my favorites in order were: 1) that pink drink 2) the blue hawaiian 3) the hurricanethe staff, my waitress and another waiter in particular were so kind and always friendly and patient. they always checked in on me and asked if i wanted more to drink and if i liked my food, which i appreciate because i'm too nervous to grab a waiter's attention myself. they also checked in on me multiple times when a couple men were talking to me. i really appreciated their kindness even when it was late at night and after the kitchen had closed.
