Curry On - Sydney

The owner of this restaurant is very knowledgeable and also runs an Uber Eats kitchen called Happy Karma Vegan. You can order the fully vegan menu through the Curry On restaurant as well. The owner prepares his own Seitan and uses fresh and delicious ingredients. This is our favorite spot for takeout, with top choices being Butter chicken/vegetables, Rajma Masala, Lamb Vindaloo, and cheese garlic naan bread.

The restaurant offers a large selection of vegan options and the food is prepared quickly. There is limited outdoor seating, so it is preferable to take the food to go.

Warning!!! We have tried the vegan dishes at this restaurant a few times before and enjoyed them. However, when we ordered the vegan chicken vindaloo tonight, my husband thought it tasted too much like real chicken. After contacting the restaurant, they confirmed that they had mistakenly given us real chicken instead of the vegan option. While we appreciate their honesty and understand mistakes happen, we will not be returning to eat here as we can no longer trust the food.

I’ve been vegan for almost 10 years and this is the very first vegan butter chicken I’ve managed to find at a restaurant that is actually good comparable to what I had before. Amazing! I imagine the other things on the menu would also be delicious

All the vegan dishes are fabulous but the butter chicken is amazing and the meal deals are great value for money. Very generous servings and great customer service. I couldn’t give it 5 stars because the app won’t let me because they have animal products on their menu. If you’re in the area and love Indian food then this is the place to go.
