The Malaya - Sydney Australia

My son had been to The Malaya before and loved it so much that he booked it for Mothers Day so my husband myself and our son went and had the set menu for lunch. The food was absolutely superb atmosphere good and the service was excellent. I can tell you we have become very fussy as we have aged. I keep telling my husband that he has become a grumpy old man. But must admit we have both become quite disillusioned with eating out. We are now retired and frequently go out to eat as a weekly outing and have become constantly disappointed with not only the food but the poor service in so many Restaurants these days. So thank you so much and really appreciated the special touch of getting a box of excellent chocolates for Mothers Day at the end of the meal. We will definitely return.

My favourite restaurant- fantastic food, we haven't ever been disappointed with a dish (the salt pepper prawns are a fav), the service is always beyond expectation and of course the location is beautiful... would happily recommend to anyone!

Excellent service from our waiter. The food are sooooo good. Highly recommend everyone to try their scampi as starters. We will definitely come back for more scampi :

This restaurant really knows its business. Wait staff excellent Attentive, knowledgeable and courteous. Food outstanding we lived in Malaysia and Indonesia for eleven years and know S E Asian food very well.Apart from an understandable lack of serious chili in some things eg the peanut sauce, the food at Malaysia is truly five star. Highly recommended
