This restaurant is a must-visit during the annual Easter Show. The bartender, Anish, is fantastic and very friendly; he always remembers our drinks every evening after work, which is exactly what you want in a bartender. The atmosphere is relaxed and you can always count on seeing some familiar faces. However, the drinks are a bit expensive and the bar tends to close early (between 8-10:00), which can be disappointing during event periods. Despite these drawbacks, I would still recommend this place for its convenience and location near Olympic Park.
The brewery is a fantastic spot to gather with friends for a night out or a special celebration. The vibe is lively and engaging. The small bites and entrees cater well to a range of dietary needs. I highly recommend stopping by on your next trip to Wollongong.
Only 3 items in menu 2 burgers and loaded chips! Burgers were almost unusable! They consisted of warmed frozen meat and very little salad. No sauce! They were so dry that they had to give you a drink to get the burgers. You should be ashamed to charge money for them!
I've only been here before a sporting match at ANZ Stadium, I wouldn't be here otherwise, and I only go here because they have better beer than inside the stadium. The fact they have okay beer, a selection of TVs to watch sport on, and...occasionally a sausage sizzle are the only redeeming factors of this place. It only seems to be open prior to a game, it's so crowded at that time that the lines to the bar are huge service is always slow, and when there's a live band playing it can be so loud you have to shout to speak. I've never tried the food, but there's tastier options nearby away from the stadium. From what I've seen it looks like stock standard pub food and nothing special. If you can time your visit just to go straight to the stadium, or maybe have 1 or 2 beers here while watching the earlier footy game on the TVs, it's for the best, there's nothing special here.
