Don Cherry Sports Grill Sydney NS

Because of Covid-19 and do not want to go to many shops and wanted to eat outside, we choose Don Cherry's Sports Grill. Inside was very clean, but we wanted to sit outside. They had picnic tables with parasols. It was... but very loud with all the traffic that leads to the mall. The food was average. Service was good. The first time there, I can't answer some of the following questions because I didn't know

My husband and I visited Don Cherry's in Sydney today. We were a bit unsure of what to expect during the pandemic, but we were pleasantly surprised. The waitstaff were attentive and friendly, following safety protocols with masks and proper distancing. The food was delicious with generous portions and reasonable prices. We enjoyed some tasty caesars and my husband had the chicken Tortellini while I had the Canadian club wrap with cherry chips, both of which were excellent. We live in the Halifax region and were disappointed to find out that there is no Don Cherry's near us. However, we will definitely be returning on our next visit to the island. We now have a go-to spot when we're in the area.

We were in Sydney on weekends and we left the area we stopped at Don Cherry for lunch. Sunday at noon and the place was quiet. Previous meals in Sydney were disappointing, so we had abandoned, expected a nice meal.... From the outside I can't say that the place looks attractive. But as a proverb says, don't set a book of him's cover. The menu has a wide range of foods, and our server Bonita was polite and attentive. With all TV screens I can see why this would be the place to watch sports and enjoy beer. Three of my family members had the Grilled Quesadilla with Chicken $12). That was a big portion and one of the best Quesadilla my wife had enjoyed. My son and I had the Bacon Swiss Mushroom Burger $13,49). I have eaten in some Deluxe Burger places specializing in a gourmet castle. I certainly didn't expect this burger to fit one of those places. But it was an excellent burger. Total surprise. No question, I'll have this article again. Beverages were limited to coke due to driving tasks. But at $2.89 with free refill, no problem there, except the box-stop needs about an hour later. For good food and prices, this is a place to visit.

This is definitely the best spot for wing night with the guys! It's a fantastic place to watch sports, grab a beer, and hang out. The whole menu is delicious and the staff is exceptional. I've never had a bad experience with the service or the food here! I highly recommend trying the hot wings or Don's Ultimate.

If you're looking to catch a game on the big screen, I recommend this place. Not much in the way of craft beer, but they have good slushy drinks for the kids and the fries were delicious. We also received great service! I would definitely...return to watch another game and have a drink or two.
