On a shopping day in Chatswood Chase we stopped for a break at Asakaze Restaurant. We had bowls of miso and very fresh sushi. It was just what the doctor ordered!! Delightful!! Service we fast and the miso was hot. It could have done with a touch more tofu but otherwise really hit the spot. We'll go back.
I recently dined at the restaurant in Chatswood Chase and tried their delicious Teriyaki Chicken dish. For $12.50, it came with a side salad, deep-fried prawn, and a miso soup. The food was both tasty and reasonably priced. My only suggestion would be for other Asakaze locations, such as the one in Macquarie Centre or the outdoor one in Chatswood Westfield, to adopt the same recipe for their Teriyaki Chicken dish.
We got in late and this is my 11 year olds must go place when she hits international four times a year. My only complaint, I so wish they served fresh until at least 7:30. We made do with bentos. My daughter says they have the best tuna sushi she has had thus far. :
I went to this restaurant on a Saturday night around 6:30pm to have dinner while waiting at the airport. They had a limited selection of items available, which seemed to have been out for a while. I asked about getting a Bento box, but the female waitress told me they were not making any more that night. Her attitude was quite negative, as if I was inconveniencing her by being there. It was only 6:30pm, and all the other food places nearby were still open, serving freshly cooked meals to the tired travelers. We ended up getting food from somewhere else, and when we walked past Asakaze later, we saw that it was still open with no customers, and the same waitress standing behind the counter, looking like she was just waiting to leave.
