In addition to drinks, they serve Mediterranean-inspired share plates such as BBQ scallops, charcuterie, and croquettes. And let's not forget about "crackin' Thursdays" when they open random bottles of wine and offer $2 glasses of wine and pintxos. Come and enjoy the atmosphere by pulling up a stool at this fantastic establishment.
I can't believe this place doesn't have a higher rating! I absolutely adore Black Bottle. The concept is so unique and I love being able to choose from fresh produce. The food is always delicious and the wine is reasonably priced. I especially love the scallops, which are regularly available. Don't forget to try the cheese and red wine, they also offer carafes! I highly recommend giving this place a try.
Cozy, warm, relaxing and feels like you're at home! Black Bottle is a quirky venue where you can either sit inside or in a little courtyard out the back connecting to the street. <br/ <br/ The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable making the whole experience brilliant. <br/ <br/ Service is great, they explain the dishes and wines as though you're in a fine dining restaurant but without paying the high price tag. <br/ <br/ Majority of the menu is changed weekly using all fresh ingredients and it tastes amazing! <br/ <br/ On my visit I had the Scollops which are delightful, fresh house-made pate, baby octopus, baby cos, charcoal Barramundi, roast potatoes and a scrumptious chocolate tart.<br/ <br/ If you're wondering through Darlinghurst I can highly recommend popping in for a drink or a casual dinner. It is a place where you can stop by for a few bevies or sit and enjoy a nice fresh dinner!<br/ <br/ Check out more at travellingbrunchguy.com
A quaint bistro, we had an early pre theatre dinner on a cold windy evening. The restaurant was welcoming we were warmly greeted by Andreas (restaurant manager) who was friendly introduced us to the offerings as there was a Bastille Day promotion going on. The food was top notch out steak was perfectly cooked. Seating is on high tables inside normal tables in a courtyard at the back. The restaurant quickly filled up with regulars the friendly vibe added to the ambience. A great place for an suthentic French meal we definitely will be back.
