I tried the veggie burger with lemon zested yoghurt slaw, pesto, and halloumi, which was delicious despite not looking like the photo on Foodora. My friend enjoyed the beef burger with cheese, relish, mayo, and pickles, which was just a bit fancier. The burgers are just the right size, served with chips. I recommend trying one of the 'Special Burgers' next time. I might opt for a burger in a bowl for a different experience. The restaurant has a fascinating backstory, which you can read about on their menu while waiting for your meal. Keep in mind that drinks are quite expensive. Overall, a great dining experience.
We ordered the Biggie Smalls burger, which is a bit more expensive at $18. However, it was worth it as you get a full-size double beef burger along with a smaller version on top. The burger was delicious and came with a generous portion of chips. Overall, it was a satisfying meal for one person.
It was 35degrees so we hit up coogee...For burgers lol. Had never been but this place has great ethics and decent burgers with quality sides beer list. I did the burger challenge and got pb&j shake, missus got Wang's and loaded waffle fries. Was good. Burger patties could be a bit fattier, and I'd prefer hi melt American but the buns were good. Sides were amazing and the shake too.
Burger Barrel was just a treat! The staff were friendly and the venue had a nice selection of options for burgers and sides to pick. A little pricey but it was nice and tasty. The service was also quick. I would definitely come back and try some more of their other burgers.
Although their burger selection is limited, the ones they do offer are absolutely delicious. The unique flavors of the burgers are very flavorful and pair perfectly with a cold beer. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable.
