Cafe C'Ya - Sydney

The braised short ribs are hit and miss; almost like they have a pot out back and are just mixing new and old cause the tenderness can range from melt in your mouth amazing-ness to as I've shown....paper bark levels of stringy-ness....otherwise, gorgeously overcooked carrots and pumpkin ("is an overcooked carrot in a meaty sauce ever a bad thing; no" - Anthony Bourdain) The tofu soup....can't mess that up.... A hit or miss score for a hit or miss place :)

Nice cosy place with a relaxed atmosphere. I went here during the school week at around 2pm and it was completely empty (no customers). I've heard that this restaurant gets quite busy though. The food arrived pretty fast (what a surprise). Food: not terrible but not great. A bit better than mediocre. Price: affordable

A hidden gem. A very comfortable and welcoming cafe with friendly staff that serves great food. On a busy day, I waited up to 40 minutes for 1 dish to even arrive. That was the only downside. (lack of staff? Lol). Normal wait would be 5-15 minutes. Other than that, I highly recommend!!

A nice cosy place for a quick lunch with decent prices and menu. They have some lunch specials for cheap but their usuals are < $15 anyway. I noticed a lot of Koreans coming in so I assume it's good/authentic haha :P I got the cold bibimbap which was quite tasty, it was one of the lunch specials. They gave sides with my friend's soup which was nice.
