We enjoyed a variety of pizzas, pasta, salads, and desserts, and each dish was inventive, tasty, and fresh. I particularly loved the squid ink pasta and the tuna, but it was difficult to choose a favorite. The wine selection was also excellent, and the service was very friendly.
Last week, my family and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the Negroni.
This restaurant review is a bit challenging because the service and food were not exceptional, but the main draw of this place is its location. The outdoor seating area, across from the iconic El-Alamein fountain, is fantastic. If they improved their kitchen, this place would be amazing. It's a great spot to grab a drink, but if you're a pizza lover looking for authentic Italian pizza, you may want to try elsewhere. Another thing to mention is that sometimes they have terrible musicians playing in the evening, which can be so bad that it's entertaining.
Exhausted from the sunny summer Sydney afternoon after 24hrs of flying, we fell into the outdoor seats for what was the best meal we’ve had in days! We started with drinks and a Heirloom Tomato Salad (basically a caprese salad), which was small but deliciously tasty! Then our main courses come... My Gnocchi melted in your mouth with small bursts of fresh pea and a slight zing! from a touch of lemon in the sauce!! We each wholeheartedly relished our meals in their simplicity and refreshing flavour. Prego!
Great food, lovely vibes sitting outside on a sunny afternoon by the fountain. Decent service, well appointed place. Great lunch time deal too $20 for 2 courses!
