The menu here is not very user friendly as it is very restrictive with whay you can order with what and such.Sure, you want naan ? Then no rice for you. You want rice, then no naan. Can't get a veggie and a meat, it has to be two veggie dishes or two meats. The drinks menu is extremely limited, and the prices were a bit higher than I would have expected. And when you do finally eat you meal it wasn't even that good anyways.Too salty and small portions as well.Try somewhere else and skip this place.
I had the Tandoor Chicken for lunch, they advertised 2 chicken pieces with Naan bread and I got small chicken pieces not even making up a quarter of a chicken. Not worth $9.90. Food was bland as well, give this a miss.
Curry Avenue is a great little foodhall stall in the basement of The Galeries. Lots of vegetarian options. My definite favourite is the veg biryani which is packed with flavour. The malai kofta is delicious too. Friendly staff although serve size can really vary. Also offers thali and dosa which I've never tried but will sometime soon. Yum!
The Veg Biryani was extremely good. More so, the Mango Lassi was the best we have ever had. Its a small place in the basement food court of the Queen Victoria building ( I think its below Pitt Street Station). Highly recommeneded
