It is located at 22nd floor of Adina Hotel in Hunter Street. Catch a lift to level 21, and using staircase proceed to level 22. Bartenders and wait staff were friendly and welcoming. Apart from house wine and beer, there’s only 4 choices happy hour cocktails: 2 alcoholic and 2 non alcoholic (mocktails), price at $15. I had two different alcoholic cocktails. After all who wants mocktails, at a bar..??! The rum based one was very light, couldn’t tasted any rum except coke. The vermouth one, was very nice. I’d recommend the later one. The hand cut chip was crispy, hot and delicious. Price was $12 with average taste sauce of aioli and siracha. The downside was too much chicken salt and sauce could be better. Less is better (for salt but not for alcohol)
Very nice place and great service. Unfortunately the drinks that we were after were no longer available. Also the live music is a bit too much (too loud) for such a small venue. Otherwise, we had a great time. Price per person: A$80–100 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Lovely cocktails and great atmosphere. Space is bigger than it looks.
Breakfast was amazing on weekend Price per person: A$80–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Bacon and Egg Burger
Food was alright but not worth the price, service was painfully slow. My husband and I stayed at A by Adina so we ate breakfast here a few times and dinner once. Each time, we waited at least five minutes, often more, to even receive water and menus. On several occasions we had to ask for water and menus multiple times before receiving either. Service was slow even when we were among the only guests in the restaurant. The waiters were completely inattentive, and did not refill waters once empty, check that we had everything, or notice when we or other guests were trying to get their attention. The staff generally seemed as though they didn't want to be there, doing the bare minimum if not less. On two separate occasions I asked for a hard poached egg but received one with yolk still entirely runny, and the muesli was inedible as served, coming with a bowl full of dried granola and only a small dollop of yogurt and a single strawberry and blackberry. I asked for more yogurt on the side which we were charged for. The rest of the food was ok but forgettable, with better and lower cost options a short 5-10 walk from the hotel. Unless you're staying at the hotel and want a slow start to your morning, go elsewhere. And if you do dine here, expect slow service without a smile.
