The food was good, although I personally found it a bit plain. I don't have much experience with Malaysian cuisine to compare it to. I particularly liked the curried chicken, which had a delicious flavor and was very tender, but I wished it had a bit more spice to it.
This restaurant offers a variety of Malaysian classics and unique items as part of the Chinta Ria range. The menu is extensive enough to provide choices without being overwhelming. They offer small bites, soup noodles, BBQ, traditional dishes, wok items, roti, and bento lunch boxes. The service was good, although the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed by the large crowds. Being one of the first outlets to open in the food court, they faced little competition during lunch hours and had a dedicated audience among the workers at Chifley Tower. I tried the Clear Noodle Soup With Hokkien Noodles topped with Roast Duck, as well as the Roti With Coconut Jam (Kaya). The noodles exceeded my expectations, as they had a flavorful soy taste and the soup was hearty and delicious. The roti was crispy, and I enjoyed the kaya served with it. Overall, it is worth giving this restaurant a try, and I look forward to sampling more items on the menu!
I was very excited to try this restaurant for days, but was ultimately disappointed. The portion size was very small, and the food was cold. I was tempted to send it back, but decided not to bother due to the high prices. It was not worth it.
I went to lunch with my colleagues the service was really timely with our meals within a few minutes. that was nice to eat. I might have found it a small gland, but I didn't try to compare many Malaysian dishes. I enjoy the healed huh that had a nice round taste and melted in my mouth, but still could have been a little spicier.
New modern Malaysian in the recently upgraded chifley food court. the food overall is tasty, but do not expect much protein for the price (chifley rent and all that). I have tried the ria ayam very beautiful huh, but not much of it; the frying duck with noodles, duck was delicious but very sweet and not the beautiful thick filets in the picture at the theke, and the torn noodles below are very bland; and the clear noodle soup with huh very full and generous, but not much actual bhun in it. in short, a decent but not large food, but do not compare the quantities to some of the other Asian takeaways around the city, this is wise at the premium end price.
