They cost .35 Australians. the lines bought them until dozens. there is a restaurant on a side of the small cream buffer window and a bakery with dim-sum articles on the other. adequate steam-him prices.
Eating was really nice and connected with large service. the restaurant is under the floor. the restaurant was almost empty when we had dinner on Friday night at 19 o'clock and we were on a scoopon deal. was excellent. I would go back and pay normal prices because it is one of the better Chinese meal I had in sydney. space good for company function or large groups.
We were on a special deal with limited decisions, but what we had to choose was more than sufficient. there was a good choice about a lot of different directed. especially liked the aubergine dish and the bark was beautiful and spicy. the special...Deal came with two bottles of wine, where perfectly drinkable. I liked the ambiente; the tables are divided so that you don't sit on top of each other. would definitely be reappeared if I was in the opposite and needed somewhere fast and tasty to eat.
I have wanted to review this restaurant for a couple of weeks now, but every time I tried to locate the venue via my phone app, this little establishment was nowhere to be found. So lets begin this tale with the purchase of a scoupon...voucher. I can 't remember the price...it was either $49 or $59 or thereabouts for an 8 course degustation and a bottle of wine. We booked initially, and have to say, the proprietor was happy to re book when my partner was admitted to hospital the night of our dinner booking. When we rebooked we had our 2x 10yr olds and asked if they could come along if we bought additional food. This was all ok So we arrived, and as soon as we were announced as scoupon people, we were hurriedly herded to our table and then everything came out quick and without much care. The portions were small. I know its only for 2 people, but my partner was still somewhat hungry. The food itself was ok. you got to choose a few variants in the entree and main from a very limited list. Because my partner doesn 't drink, I had poured my self a couple of glasses of our wine. I couldn 't finish the second glass, so poured it BACK INTO MY BOTTLE. When we left everything was light with the owner and we paid our extra $40 and left. He then chased me out of the restaurant and demanded the bottle back stating it was a condition of scoupon that any unfinished bottles remain at the restaurant....I was in shock , as he basically took it from my hand. This was the first I had EVER heard of this. It wasn 't until I caught up with my partner and I explained why I was looking pissed off, that he reminded me that I neglected to say that I 'd re-poured my glass back in to the bottle. What was he going to use it for? What if I had a highly contagious disease? I had purchased this bottle, it technically belonged to me. I then went through the terms and conditions of Scoupon, and at no point did i find anywhere that stated that 'The unused bottle of wine remained the property of the venue. ' I asked several of my friends in the restaurant business if this was common practice and they said no. I have tried contacting Scoupon but there is no phone number and the limited question options didn 't cover what i was after so I gave up….Otherwise I would have definitely made a complaint. I hate establishments that participate in these vouchers and then change either their menu, their level of service or dining options. Word of mouth is GOLD, and I have returned to many establishments, and happy to pay full price after an initial voucher visit. As Ive said countless times…Sydney is full of amazing restaurants….there is no time to waste your time in ones like this that don 't value you as a customer, or more importantly as a RETURNING CUSTOMER. All up our meal was $100…..and we were still hungry and they profited of MY WINE….NOT HAPPY JAN !!!!!
