Gpo Oyster Seafood - Sydney

A seafood dinner was in order, and what better than to go to a restaurant with the word Oyster in it! <br/ <br/ The GPO is more like an upper end food court as you can choose where to sit in a general albeit ambient area (good for dates trust me). We ordered a dozen oysters with the market fish of the day, Rainbow trout. At first glance the oysters look small however upon biting it, we had a full flavour just kiss our tongues, wow. Very fresh, and delicious oysters indeed. The rainbow trout was also quite good, cooked well and melted in your mouth. <br/ <br/ Whilst the salad and chips were admittedly unremarkable, this is not to take away from the quality oysters and fish. Fresh flavours, quick service, well located in the basement of the iconic westin hotel in Sydney.. very popular. Great menu and a very enjoyable experience of having a plate of oysters

Great place for food, coffee and a chat after work.

I went with my partner and another couple to the gpo and we loved the cozy place and the great service! they need to book in advance, although cuz it is pretty busy! the goatsefondue was really good and enough for 2 people. we also shared a chocolate fondue in 4 and it was delicious! super recommended.
