Grounded At Hordern - Sydney

On holiday in Sydney We were staying at the Raddisson on Liverpool Street and really pleased we found this smart modern cafe just up the road. We had breakfast / brunch on 3 days and each time food was delicious, flavoursome and quality ingredients. Eggs benedict, and Eggs Royale were favourites. Really nice coffee Cappuccino too. Service was friendly and relaxed, and made for a really pleasant cafe ambience.

Very slow service and this when you have to order at the counter. No greeting on arrival. Didn't end up ordering breakfast and settled in a bitter long black. Sitting at table and the juice blenders are right next you so when they blend ice you get an ear full. Used to be thriving great service coffee and food. Will not be back. Cracked coffee cup really.

Hubby and I had a nice brekky. The service was quick and efficient. The coffee was great. The menu was extensive to choose from and lot of healthy and vegan options as well.

We had late lunch here. My chicken and avocado salad was really really good. The staff were polite and friendly. Service was quick and thoughtful. I'd be a regular here if I lived in Sydney!

They offer a wide range of breakfast options. I had some toasted banana bread and a large flat white coffee - total cost $9 The service was friendly and professional
