In. sydney. great value can be shared between people, with a delicious variety of mushrooms, tofu, meatballs and cut meat. Sushi reels were made good with fresh quality sashimi.
I didn't think this was anything special, but I can see how it would be a nice place to go to lunch if you worked nearby.
Tucked away on the otherwise deserted O'Connell Street is the bustling authentic Japanese restaurant, Izakaya Masuya. This end of town is mostly office
To be perfectly honest the servers have dank ass attitudes, especially considering they're Japanese and should very well know/attempt to atleast mildly uphold Japanese service standards, but besides that the takeaway food is great. Super filling, sashimi was decently fresh and price was reasonable for the donburi I got for $12 considering it's the city. First time spending my actual money dollars on Jap food after having been in Japan for 2 months, as I was avoiding it due to the inevitable disappointment I thought would consume me, but the cravings were real and this place wasn't a complete let down. I'd rather spend $12 on donburi up here with a generous serving of the sashimi offcuts than pay $79 for a sashimi boat downstairs (which I did twice #majorragrets) ANY DAY.
