Little Vietnamese Food - Sydney

I think the owner has a bit of an attitude since they are always packed during lunch. Last time when I ordered the fish dish, it was not available so I ordered spring rolls, it was not available either so I ended up ordering pork belly. I asked not to have chilli in my sauce and the lady owner (not the lady at the counter) said "the chilli already mixed in, no other option", so I asked if the sauce could be served on the side so I would just use a little bit, she said "no, the sauce will be mixed in, this is how we serve it". They are very inflexible. Even the food is good, I will never come back.

I went this place twice, first time bad -my friend order extra chilly, and the staff charged $2.00 extra without any notice in advance, so shocking as this is the first time we heard this; second time worse - i found a hair in the bowl when i nearly finish, so i do not want to change or bother the staff, just want to remind them about the fact before I leave. However the staff did not care, and the boss even more rude, said it can be my hair... what a shocking explanation! never back again. Really poor service!

Saw this place and decided to give it a go, we ordered a beef and a chicken pho (paid $27.90). The pho was delicious and we love the soup, my only gripe for not giving 4 stars was we were asked to pay for 2 extra empty bowls. Initially the lady owner said $2.00 but she later confirmed $2.50 for each bowl. WTH $5.00 ?!?!?!!! to which I wasn't going to make a big scene in front of our girls so we paid so our girls can a share of the pho. Great pho but bad experience. Happy to pay $2 for the extra cleaning etc, $5 is just stupid business sense. Tips: BYO bowls if you want to share.......

I've only came here for the pho and it never fails. I enjoy it every time, down to the very last sip of soup in my bowl. Be warned it does come with chopped chile in the bowl by default although I have no problem with that as the chile adds a nice zangy kick to the broth. They also only have 2 pho flavours, beef and chicken. It would be nice if the beef pho had beef balls as per traditional beef pho bowls but it still doesn't take the flavour away from the dish. Service is also great! We usually get our bowl within the first couple of minutes of ordering. Would def recommend to all pho lovers.

One of the better Vietnamese places in the cbd. Their pho is aromatic and rich in flavour. I also like their ginger chicken vermicelli bowl - it's not strong in ginger but has very succulent, tender chicken pieces.
