Contribuisci feedbackThroughout my entire life, I was convinced that the best pulled pork sandwich could be found in Texas, but definitely in America. However, my belief was shattered when I visited a small café in Sydney one warm February day. While looking for affordable places to eat in Sydney using Yelp, I came across this place that was known for their pulled pork sandwich. I was skeptical that it could be as good as those in the USA, but the prices lured me in. I tried the Burgazilla, a sandwich with a beef patty and Spanish onion (the guy behind the counter kept insisting it was Spanish instead of white onion). The sandwich was so delicious that it brought tears to my eyes. It is an award-winning dish that should not be missed if you are visiting Sydney. The best way to get there is to take the subway from Circular Quay to Wynard Station, use the York St. exit, turn right, and the café is just past the Philippine Airlines building on the same side as the underground station. I have a terrible memory, but the sandwich is so good that I can remember exactly how to get there. Just be sure to arrive before they close for lunch.
Located in Sydney CBD near Wynyard Station, this big sandwich shop offers a variety of options that are made by the owner on site. While seating is limited, they also offer delivery services. A visit to this place is recommended, and if seating is full, you can enjoy your meal in the park across the street at Chow-Down. Overall, it is one of the top sandwich spots in Sydney.
I go to this sandwich bar once a week and I am a regular customer. The staff recognizes me and knows my usual order. Despite its small size, the restaurant has charm and the food is amazing. I highly recommend trying the chicken sandwich with pesto, it's absolutely delicious!
A welcome addition to the Sydney Café scene. Many types of pulled pork burgers as well as other food options and excellent coffee. Great value over $10 for a big burger, fast service (for both takeaway and sit down) and a good mood. Well, guys.
My entire life I believed that the best pulled pork sandwich my not be in Texas BUT its definitely in America. I will never forget that warm February day I walked into a little side cafe in Sydney and had that belief shattered. Fortunately for me before I arrived in SYD I used YELP to scope out affordable places to eat in SYD, this place kept coming up and people kept talking about the pulled pork sandwich. I remember thinking it cant be that good because its not in the USA. What really steered my to the store once I got to Sydney was the cost of everything, so I gave this place a shot.I had the Burgazilla, no beef patty (what the hell was that about) and red onion (the guy behind the counter kept saying Spanish onion?) instead of white onion. That sandwich brought a tear to my eye and it wasn't the Spanish onion doing it. It is award winning good and a can't miss when vacationing in Sydney.Simply take the metro from Circular Cay to Wynard station. Use the York St. exit and make a right on the st. The shop is on the same side as the metro station just past the Philippine Airlines Building.I have a terrible memory but the sandwich is that good that I remember exactly how to get thereO yeah they close early so you have to go for lunch
