Great service with highly engaging staff and we appreciated the local wine recommendations. Try the Brothers in Arms Shiraz which was good value and excellent wine to pair with pastas and meats. My penne Bolognese was little overdone and not Al dente. But most of us were hungry so the company, wine more than offset the food.

This restaurant wins for me. A simple old style decor with authentic food and wine and service from another world. Tartare steak is amazing, but the beef cheek ragut is incredible. Don't expect a cheap meal expect a great meal

You have to know where this restaurant is to find it. Don't be put off by the simple basement style entrance, once in the staff are fantastic and the food is excellent. True Italian food a long way from home.

Received a warm welcome upon arrival. Food was excellent with generous portions. Good selection of wine and bottled beer. Despite being busy, the restaurant was not noisy as can often be the case with a relatively low ceiling and tiled floor. Service was very good.

Had a business dinner and the food was superb! The special was beef cheek ragout and fusilli pasta. Very rich and unctuous. Colleagues had the veal and reported the tiramisu was heavenly. Very professional wait staff and a wonderful atmosphere.
