Good, economy Mexican eat out. Comparable with Chipotle in US. Average ambience. They have the option for veggies instead of chicken or beef along with fajita and guacamole.

For a $10.90 lunchtime special that vaguely resembles a steak, beef and chicken burrito come here if youve had a really busy and stressful morning and would like to be left dissatisfied and still hungry! WHERES THE MEAT ON MY BURRITOS YOU STINGY PEOPLE! There is literally 15 cubes of steak in my so called steak burrito! However the asian lady who greeted me as i walked in and walked out has great customer service together with the spanish guy at the register.

This place is located conveniently towards one end of the Harbourside Shopping Centre, on the second level. It wasn't as crowded as most other Mad Mex outlets, and it has ample seating inside. A strong, in-your-face kind of ambiance greets you, which you may or may not like. I liked it, but some people may find it to be too dense. I went for a Veggie naked Burrito and Pepsi Max Lime. The Burrito Bowl was excellent, full of veggies and I even got free guacamole! It was REALLY filling as well. At around $15 (including the soft drink), I suppose it is priced just about right. When looking for a quick eat around Darling Harbour I like coming here for their pork burrito. I like that it comes in 2 sizes as the small size is sufficient for me and my husband gets the regular size. We both like to make it spicy and on the last visit we tried their churros for dessert and it wasn't too bad. You get one long piece with some chocolate sauce. Staff are friendly and the line moves quickly.

Tried Nachos at Mad Mex, perfectly mixed with the right ingredients. Proper quantity of beans and salsa. The spice level was confirmed before adding the sauce. Mixed vegetables were perfectly marinated and cooked. Quantity was great for one person. Overall a perfect place to have NACHOS. I will surely visit the place multiple times just for the love of NACHOS. Would also love to try the other options in the Menu like variety of Tacos. Tejal Bafna
