Try this restaurant for the first time and order their lunch menu set. Choose the spicy noodle with bulgogi and the kimchi stew with grilled mackerel. Also order jjajangmyeon. Spicy noodle taste okay but I hope they use the glass noodle, poor that it’s not spicy at all. Bulgogi so legit. The grilled mackerel not really tasty like in Seoul. Jjajangmyeon Taste okay like usual. Love their side dish and also free sikkek in the end.
Nice restaurant in an alley a bit hard to find. Quite busy on a Saturday night with a waiting line by 6 pm restaurant spans across 3 levels so there's ample seating. Ordered Pork Belly Kimchi Hotpot massive portion size for $50, came with ramen rice cake, mushrooms ! Lots of kimchi but the pork belly was a bit tough. Also ordered Tteobokki with cheese very tasty. Service is fast and friendly, enjoyable experienceGood prices considering its in the CBD, side dishes were also good
Fried tofu salad was huge! A refreshing dish overall although I though the batter was a big too thick. Spicy beef and veg soup was outstanding as the beef was super tender! We also ordered bibimbap which is a classic of Korean food and I honestly think this dish can’t go wrong at all, this place made it well as expected.
We loved the kimchi jiggae here! The hot stone bibimbap had really sticky rice, wasn’t too impressed with it. Might come back to try out the bbq selection.
