We had a booking for high tee. the staff looked like they had no idea about it and didn't expect us at all. we had to wait some time for them to set up, I think about the confusion. sweets looked beautiful and tasted beautiful, but the sandwiches came very dry. the waitress was polite and took care of us. a bit mixed experience unfortunately. still no worse place for a more casual high tee, as it is embedded in a food dish.
Generally nice hide out to enjoy a chat with family and friends.
Was supposed to have high tea there as booked, it turned that high tea menu has to be pre-booked. I really don't understand how it worked, I booked the high tea time slot but have to pre-book the high tea sets again? How, additional phone call on top of the web booking? It is a confusing experience and with this price tag, I am not impressed.
With my friend for high tee. we booked for 11 , came 10 min early, our high tee came 30 minutes later. order 2 drinks lasted 25 minutes for the drinks - coffee was cold. iced tee had to ask twice where it was and forget them. not tee was zimt flavored cordial. the food arrived, the personal didn't explain what it was or what we ate, just dumped and ran away. I had to taste with her dessert cabinet after dessert we saw how they prepared the food while we were close to the kitchen. no personal wore gloves and they scratched the heads and prepared our food further. Sandwich bread felt stale, did not eat any of it, gurke with butter aparantly was acceptable. rest were ham and cheese and something with laughs on it. small apple cake thing was broken raw in the inner and microshaft to touch. scone and macaroon were in order, we paid $70 for high tee and that was terrible. we talked to their associates about it, they said I'm sorry that I asked the manager that they directed at them, and said to see them. we got another staff to tie the manager down, and she came by, we pressed our disappointment, they apologised and offered a pack of macaroons in opposition we asked a refund, they offered 1 refund, we then asked for our money back when we couldn't eat the rest of the food, because it wasn't nice and stable. she has returned at the end. have not been going back
