Contribuisci feedbackThis is by far the best Indian fusion restaurants in the city. Great work by the chef in both the quality and presentation. Awesome service from the staff. Well done team!!
Thought we would try this newly opened restaurant. It was a bit quiet when we came for dinner which is a shame because the food is amazing! The chef has taken ordinary Indian comfort food and turn them into wondrous gastronomic creations. Must be seen to be believed, And the taste, while not 100% reminding me of the food from my childhood, has great flair and inventiveness. Highly recommended
A place that left me speechless and my taste buds yearning for more! I booked a 7 course degustation for my cousin and myself and the experience turned out to be HEAVENLY. A shoutout to the chef for his great presentation, high attention to detail and such molecular flavours. Every dish from crisply kale chaat, to pav bhaji bruschetta, the beetroot dessert, the butter chicken, the kebabs left me wanting for more. Initially i felt the quantity to be very minimal, but as we progressed with one delectable surprise after another, i was extremely full before it ended. The only things that need improvement were the papadum basket and the chef special amuse brouche, which was a pear with carrot crumble and some sauce. It did not give any taste, but just the pear as a fruit. Both could have been better compared to the standards the place exhibits. However there were many highlights for the night, but one that must be ordered is Green pea and cheese roulade. I wonder what went into that dish for it to be so divine. The chef surely outdid himself. Thanks to Remi for being kind and helping us to understand some of the dishes. All the staff was very professional and friendly at the same time.I was full of flavours even the next day! An outstanding experience. Highly recommended!!
The newly opened Punjabi Fusion in Millers Point boasts a fine dining experience to tantalise the senses and take you out of your comfort zone. We had the opportunity to enjoy the 11 course degustation menu which took common Indian dishes and added a European twist. Throughout the courses we tried numerous dishes ranging from Lamb Keema Kebab Bruschetta, to Activated Charcoal Butter Chicken right through to Beetroot and Carrot Pudding!. Being the Indian food lovers that we are, we were extremely surprised of the European twist and the flavours it pronounced. Service was impeccable and our waiter took the effort to explain to us each of the dishes and ensured we were catered to our every need.<br/
Wow this was such a unique and amazing experience and so different to what has been offered in Sydney. I've tried some of the best molecular dining in the world in New York's WD 50 and I'd say this is definitely up there with the best. It really changed my perception on what Indian cuisine is all about and takes it to the next level. Many degustations leave you hungry or not satisfied but this was one that satisfied your hunger as well as delighting and surprising with each course. The theatrical presentations enhance and don't detract from how good the quality and design of each dish is. I'll definitely be recommending this to my fine dine foodie friends!
