Quay Seafood Fish & Chips - Sydney

When we went to Circular Quay for my birthday in Sydney in February, we were disappointed to find that our favorite restaurant serving Battered Savs and Potato Scallops had closed. I would like to thank the gentlemen who owned the store and worked tirelessly to ensure that every meal was enjoyable. You will be missed. Enjoy your retirement and thank you.

I had the crumbs and fries, and thought they tasted great. The portion size was decent and the price was reasonable for Sydney.

I was lucky to visit Sydney. Before my first visit in 2008, this place was recommended to me by family members who had previously visited Sydney in 1989. Since then, Quay Seafood has become a must for me when... in Sydney. Forget some of the posh restaurants along the Quay, if you want really fresh authentic fish and chips, this is the place to go. You have a wide selection of fish with large portions and fantastic service.

My son I bought fried perch, snapper, sea scallops, calamari etc. and took our pack to Hotel where we were staying close by. Absolutely beautiful cooked well and not greasy. What a find nicer and less expensive than seafood restaurant on Quay.
