From there the experience for our group went downhill. The waiters were arrogant, and in our face constantly making it difficult to have a conversation during our meal. The new Neil Perry menu (which we were excited about) was well sold by the waiters but absolutely failed to meet the standard we have come to expect of Sake.
Neil Perry has arrived at Sake and changed everything about it that used to make this restaurant a favorite of mine. No longer a frequent visitor.
I am a regular at Sakè double bay, and was disappointed to find that the menu has changed. I used to always brag about the dining at sakè to friends and family, and am sad to say that I won't be anymore. There was nothing wrong with the popcorn shrimp previously, and I was very sad to see that the sauce now comes separate on the side. It does not have the same taste. The portion sizes have also changed dramatically.
Great service and food. Long time fan of the Rocks location so I was pleasantly surprised on the quality of this restaurant. Special note to the head waiter who went the extra mile to make us feel special and our waitress who was personable and hilarious. We'll be booking my father in laws birthday dinner there soon!
Good ambience , excel food , excellent service expensive but worthwhile
