Despite not having a booking and needing a large table they were able to accommodate us fairly well considering it was busy. Tried the burrata with figs and caramelised balsamic special as well as the saffron and fontina arancini for entree. Felt like some seafood pasta so went with the blue swimmer crab taglioni which was amazing! Would highly recommend this venue, service was helpful and friendly and atmosphere was lovely enough but still relaxing.
There are not many vegan options available, but the pizza is delicious! We tried the Margherita pizza and some olives, and we really enjoyed the pizza. The outdoor seating area is nice and sunny as well.
We decided to stop here for a pizza after walking past on a sunny day and seeing tables outside enjoying one. We were not disappointed, we opted for the vegan margarita and some olives. The crust on the pizza was perfect, and the cheese was good too. The olives had really nice flavour but some were a little small. The vegan options weren’t huge but they can do all the pizzas with a vegan cheese and also offered a vegan gnocchi dish which I want to go back and try. Overall, a really lovely place to stop for a tasty pizza that’s not too expensive.
The restaurant hosts 'vegan nights', so you would expect them to be knowledgeable about vegan options. However, when we discussed being vegan and asked about the menu choices, they mistakenly served us drinks with egg whites. We had to pay for new drinks.
I have visited this restaurant twice and each time the food has been consistently delicious and fresh. The pizza crust is thin and perfect for those who love bread. The gnocchi had just the right amount of salt and sauce. The portion sizes were also very generous.
