I entered the restaurant and was greeted by one of the female employees. She looked disappointed when I said I didn't want a coffee, but she said I was just going to have breakfast and sitting outside. I walk and sit at the very front side of the restaurant that looked out over Bridge Minuten Pass and she didn't show up. I go back to order and I'm hit by another male waiter with an arrogant swagger. I command a speck and eierroll and ask if it's okay to sit outside what he says is in order. the female waiter is there and hears this with a Jewish expression on her face.
They may go if they like the Australian vibe.Food interior with strong use of Australian flora and fauna. Eat is nice. the bathroom also. the gnocchi was in here.
We had the private room on the night we visited. The selection of food and drinks is fine. We never had to choose as the whole menu was brought to us. Four or five starters then mains then desserts. The various dishes catered to most needs and they will bring vegetarian etc for those who cannot sort themselves out with what is on offer. The roast polenta and the scallops and calamari stood out of the starters, as did the steak cut in slices, pork belly, and fish for the mains. A good place for a work lunch or dinner.
Wonderful service and delicious food. Children catered for with colouring in and wonderful menu. Fish and chips delicious and really love the quality service.
We had a group of 12 taking lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff were very friendly and service was top quality. There was a good choice on the menu and some good offers for two or three course meals. And the location is of historical significance as this is the spot where the first Governor's Mansion once stood.
