Annapolis Dennys has been my go-to stop after health-care appointments at AAMC for over fifteen years. Always great food and friendly courteous service.
The breakfast was a let down 7.99 gran slam coffee not included no toast no hone fries..if you factor in coffee at 3.69 and add tax its over 4 dollars for just a coffeeAre people not caring about money anymore and product.Next time at home breakfastThis is was a treat to go out..
To Whom It May Concern:On 13FEB24, I went into this location which was empty except for a waitress, manager and a cook. I sat down at a booth and waited for the waitress older woman with gray braids in bun) to take my order. I ordered a hamburger patty well-done/crispy), avocado and tomato slices, white toasted bread with butter and a cup of decaffeinated coffee with warm milk. I have eaten here many times and ordered the same food with no problem. Upon receiving my food, there was cheese slathered on the meat, which I didn 't order....called the waitress over and told her that, that was not what I had ordered....she disapproving looked at me while she took the plate away...I kept the avocado and tomato slices since I knew that this would take some time for the cook to get it right.....I looked over to the kitchen, while sitting down in the booth and saw the cook put his fingers in the mouth while his braids not in a hair net) were jumping around while he moved. I found this to be unsanitary and decided to say something to the manager....whenever she came out.I received my plate and the meat looked not well-done but a grayish color...unsuitable for my palate and of course, I called her back...She the waitress) made a comment You go over there, I 'm not going back to that customer all the time, leaning up against the counter closest to the kitchen order ledge...I heard her and looked at her....she was looking in the opposite direction.....well, the waitress did come by the booth and I changed my order to a BLT...with only extra bacon, lettuce, tomato on dry white bread....no mayonnaise was ordered here.....the plate came back with mayonnaise splashed all over the BLT...the manager came over and I told her to cancel my order...the waitress did not pay attention to what I ordered,The waitress was more concerned about how close another employee was going to park next to her car...she went on about that for about 7 minutes straight and when the employee came in to start her shift, she made mention about her parking so close to her car and so on. Yes, I timed her on this....the cook was sloppy and looked dirty from where I could see him, and why was he putting his fingers in his mouth? And where was his hair net over those jumping braids of his? He looked disgusting and to be cooking over the grill....completely unacceptable....the manager came over and took my plate away and I was charge for the cup of coffee $3.49) which I paid at the register.The manager told me that she saw the plate with the hamburger patty on it and that it looked good so, I told her that if that was the case....you should eat it.....I cannot believe that Denny 's hires people such as these three to work for them.....the manager had white hair, shoulder length that should have been pulled back for health reasons....no one wants hair in their food, beverages or tables/chairs....pull your hair back and keep it from falling into my personal space.The manager was argumentative and unprofessional, to say the least.A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT IN GOING THERE TO EAT..I had to go to another restaurant to get a good meal.21FEB24.....in response to the reply to this posting....per the receipt, I was there on 15FEB24, and I was the first customer in the restaurant...it was empty of customers as I walked in.....minutes after I walked in, there was a man and his son who came in after me....as for me complaining about the food before, sadly mistaken there....the food and service before this date has been great! As for the race of the cook and waitress...another mistake since I have a sister who is African-American.....you can state what you want here but I took notes on everything that happened during the visit. Make sure and take note of the last sentence....notes constantly.....and since I could not reply to the ludicrous posting by the manager....the above-mentioned is my reply.......employ people that listen to the customer and heed to the regulations of the Department of Health.
