Joss Café Sushi - Sylmac

My wife and I are Sushi lovers! As we were looking for a place to eat and not having reservations at our first stop, which was full, we walked on and came across Joss Sushi Bar. WHAT a GREAT find! From the street you see the main bar and not the full sushi bar or rest of restaurant, which is towards the back. Nice layout! We ordered edamame and 5 Shrimp tempura and not only were they large, they were cooked to perfection. We then ordered two rolls, a Tuna Avocado and a Spicy Tuna. Both rolls were EXCELLENT! All our food was VERY fresh and tasted great. We also ordered a nice hot Sake, recommended by our waitress, who was excellent and explained everything thoroughly. The Price, Food and Service was outstanding. Would highly recommend!

My partner loudly said he wanted sushi this afternoon so being the one wonderful husband I bought when I asked the man what the best place to get sushi was in Annapolis. He said Joes was the best place to get sushi. Can’t say enough great things about the folks here, make you feel great and the price is right

This place has changed a lot. I don't eat sushi. But I found something because nothing on the menu is the same as back in the 90s.Every staff member was super friendly and helpful. My tempura soft crab roll was very good.I'm not sure I'll be coming back here, though.

A few vegan options but nothing substantial for a meal.The staff is welcoming and attentive.The food was a bit on the cool side.

Place is phenomenal, but they decided it's smart to remove their best dish: Unagi Lover.
