Like the guy from NJ who gave a glowing review during the time the bar was closed due to the pandemic. The bar is nothing special, drinks are expensive, and food is lousy. Hardly anyone here during the week. On weekends when there are bands, you can see middle aged ponytailed hippies, urban cowboys and other dorks who never grew up whooping it up. At the end the band keeps playing, though almost everyone went home to catch up on nap time. Latest update: It seems the city revoked the permit for live music because of violations and disturbing the coyotes in the canyon.
I was there for my friends birthday party. It was semi crowded. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes or so and the owner/bartender never once asked me if i wanted anything to drink and no eye contact either. She fired the best bartender Laura she will ever have. I don't go there anymore. It's such a shame. Oh and there's a really bad mildew smell in the hallway near the mens room out to the patio. She should have that checked. One more thing... Her pool sticks are awful. They need to be replaced or fixed. Good luck.
This used to be the best bar to ride your horse and tie up while you have a cocktail and enjoy the great atmosphere. No bartenders, lousy service and over charging has become the normal experience. Watch your credit cards, and beware of double charging. Ever since the owner has taken over doing everything, the place is a joke. Not worth going to anymore!
Very friendly dive bar with good food and entertainment... if you want the Ritz... go there... if you want the Hideaway ... come here! Nestled in the hills this is a hidden gem! Great place to hitch your horse (or motorcycle)!
