We went to Lokal Kitchen for breakfast. The menu had most of the breakfast options that you would normally expect plus a small handful of Korean fusion breakfast items that looked interesting. I wasn't overly hungry, so I was quite pleased to see a number of smaller plates with even smaller prices. Honestly, many of the prices were shockingly low. I don't think I've seen this kind of value at a sit down breakfast for years. The quality of the food was perfectly fine for all of us, and I would comfortably say it was better than average. The ambiance of the restaurant was also better that what you would expect at more breakfast places. The service was acceptable, but not really any different that you would expect anywhere else.
Breakfast was great. Toast was cold. Waitress seemed indifferent. Recommended by locals for our visit.
I am a huge breakfast person (especially when hungover). If I don't have eggs for breakfast... I'm sorry to all around me. I'm usually a classic breakfast person (eggs, bacon and toast) but I ordered the bulgogi breakfast. I was a lil hesitant at first because I was hungover so I thought I'd only be happy with my classic breaky. I was wrong because, sweet baby Jesus, it was great. Loved every bite.
While this place is cute and nicely decorated. Our breakfast was not great. My waffles came cold, undercooked and we paid an additional 3$ for 3 strawberries. I asked them to be heated up. And my husband's pancakes he said tasted as if they were made in a toaster from frozen. The presentation was nice but we will definitely not be returning. Its was 30$ for pancakes, waffles and side of potatoes and 1 apple juice. Next time I'll hit up McDonald's
