The food is absolutely delicious, blending authentic flavors with a modern twist. Despite its somewhat unattractive location next to Princess Highway, people travel from far and wide to dine here. The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend anyone in the Shire area to visit this gem for a truly delightful dining experience.
I frequently order from this restaurant and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. It's not your typical Thai cuisine, as they add their own unique twist to each dish. While you can still enjoy traditional favorites like peanut satay and green curry, their signature dishes are truly one-of-a-kind and beautifully crafted. I highly recommend trying the betal leaves for an appetizer and the panang lamb shanks, which are absolutely divine. It's also great that they offer brown barley rice for those who prefer to avoid starchy carbs. Overall, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!
We had to wait for 40 minutes after placing our order, even though we were very hungry. The restaurant was full and the service was extremely slow. We have dined here before and had an okay experience, but this time it was absolutely horrific. There is no excuse for such poor service.
Maybe it was our choice from the menu, but we found eating a little disappointing. the entree was really very good (enterrolle and the crispy wrap) and therefore it went through this entree was probably our selection of the net we errot....The service was really very good and given the current distancing rules it was busy. there were many food supplies and it was clear that they have access to the kitchen via the restaurant dining area. In view of the difficulties encountered by companies with pandemic, we and others must accept these shortcomings. we will be back and thanks for the service.
We had to find a location and food style that would suite a variety of tastes. We lucked out with this place. I read a number of reviews on it, but you can't always trust them as we all have a variety of pallet's and...expectations on location, food quality and value for money. Table size was 10, so we picked a 3 mixed plates to share, then a variety of mains and a mix of plain and coconut rice to share. We arrived on a Sat night at 730, the place was already packed and we had the last table. My expectation for slow service was high, we waited for about 15 mins for the waiter which was just about right with people taking their time to decide, we received the first course within another 15 minutes, the mains followed within a reasonable time after. No charge for cakeage, something a lot of the top restaurants could take note off, they even supplied a cake stand. Total bill was $274 for 10 bodies, great value and great quality. I think we have found our new Thai local, just hope its consistent, but only time will tell.
