Staff was helpful and made sure that they were giving us the right thing (no cheese? no fish?... . I'd recommend their Symi salad (lentil salad and some Mezze.
The Zoh has a very limited menu and virtually no v*gan dishes. We had a couple of adapted dishes, but the portions were small and pricey for what they were. Updated from previous review on Saturday August 06, 2011
Zoe is the favorite woman and took care of us! I said that I was vegan and when she showed me all vegetarian options, I did not give any milk and eggs and she was so helpful and very knowledgeable of any dish, review with the cook to ensure. I had gigantes and fried kicherbsen for my pornstar to start with hummus and finish complementary halva, which was also vegan! She also gave us sweetness and they really felt like they visited family, cooked with beautiful house and a kiss on the wange at the end. very reasonable also with 3 curses for two people, 1 liter wein and 3 liter water for 50 euro. so it is worth the walk from the harbour! the prospects are to die and it is nice to see the place of the tourist bits on the water away.

A beautiful lunch in Horio, the hilltop village above Gialos Harbour on Sými. Zoe cooks wonderful local homemade food and is incredibly accommodating. Mention vegan and Zoe will give you all the options. 5* worthy.
