Total Nutrition Syosset

This place has the most delicious fish. We also had two celebrations whereby we had them steam lobsters for us. They were outstanding! So far everything was fresh and the staff is helpful!

This was my first time ordering from this establishment. I found it online because I work in the area. Terrible first impression! Idk if today was Walter's first day but he messed up my order. I had to wait 10 more mins to fix it (Mind you I'm on lunch that's why I called it in.)All good nobody is perfect but when I got to work starving, there was hair in my food! That killed everything! No more Syosset Seafood for me!!

Fresh sashimi and sushi rolls. Ordered at 11am to pick up for 5:30pm. It was ready for me when I arrived. When ordering, the person picking up was not familiar with the menu. It was a little frustrating and when picking up, I wasn't optimistic. I had to keep repeating Ufo roll probably 10x. Our actual order: yellowtail sashimi (10 pieces), 5 tuna 5 salmon sashimi, tamago sashimi, Ufo roll, and spicy tuna inari. What we got- everything with exception of the spicy tuna inari. On the paper, it said spicy tuna nori. There isn't such an item by that name. They made us spicy tuna roll instead. Not terrible, but wish they had a separate number from the market. In terms of the freshness, quality is definitely on point. It's as fresh as you expect, I would compare it to Chelsea market. The only confusion is the Ufo roll. Suppose to have eel. Was eel mushed up with spicy tuna on top? Very confused. I think it was missing the eel. Overall, I am interested in ordering their large platters for parties. Too bad they don't have more exotic options like baby Hamachi, ikura, Toro, uni etc. Lastly, the market smelled clean. Would be very interested in purchase lobsters and some clam chowder next time. Maybe this will the fish monger I have been looking for close to home...

Both Syosset Seafood and Joes Sushi and sashimi have the best quality fish and everything is very fresh. I highly recommend joes sushi platter and catering. Also the shrimp platter were magnificent. 10 out of 10. Top tier
