We absolutely love Joey's! The stuffed rigatoni with sausage is incredible. We also enjoyed the Utica Greens, which I adore. My husband had the pesto pizza and he loved it, finishing the leftovers for lunch today. We shared my Caesar salad since it was so large. I can’t say enough good things about Joey's; we’ve never had a bad meal there. And Joey, we also loved the sausage! The waiting staff is always very attentive without being intrusive.
My husband and I visited Joey's this afternoon, using a gift certificate our son gave us for Christmas. We wanted to save it for a special occasion, which was my birthday today. We enjoyed a truly delicious meal. Both of us are fans of deep-fried calamari, so we ordered that along with a recommendation from our waitress Jeanna for the calamari steak. I have to say, the deep-fried calamari ended up coming home with us! I also had the chicken parmesan, which was fantastic. I make my own spaghetti sauce, and when I find one that rivals my own, I know it's something special. The house wine was lovely as well. We definitely plan to return to this restaurant, and I'll be happily sharing our experience with anyone who will listen. Thank you for a wonderful culinary experience!
I love the food! Stuffed mushrooms and chicken franchaise were amazing! The staff was great. Place was packed but worth waiting. Even a few glasses of sauce for home.
I live in Canada and found Joey's the first time in 1993. Been making a point of going back whenever stating or going through Syracuse. Great food and service.
