King David's - Syracuse

Went three different times trying a cheese pizza the first time and it was incredible. The second time I tried a Chicken Shawarma pita a it was really nothing more then a shredded chicken pita sandwich with no spices whatsoever. I should have been concerned when the woman at the grill asked the cashier what was on the pita. Third time I went with a Beef Shawarma pitta and had a very similar experience. The beef was spicy but tasted like just pepper. I've had Shawarma at other various restaurants and never had such a bland Shawarma. Maybe it's their own way of preparing Shawarma.

Absolutely disgusting. I took 2 bites of my gyro then had to stop because it was so disgusting. The meat was tough and had a strange aftertaste. My fries came out freezing cold. Don’t waste your money, go to Kiki’s instead. Food: 1 Service: 4

Love this restaurant! Consistently great food and quick service. Hummus is delicious—my wife says she could eat it everyday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Affordable prices.Parking: Plenty of parking right out front of store. In a small plaza. Getting in and out from West Genesee is tricky.
