Bistro - Tacoma

This place is a little gem. The food is excellent, with some southern flair sprinkled across the menu. It's well prepared and the offerings change frequently enough to make me think fresh and in-season is a priority. Also, they make great cocktails with a real attention to detail. I HATE their reservation system--they're full enough on a daily basis not to penalize late or no shows . . . petty is not a good look.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but looks are deceiving... Food is amazing. Been here a few times and never left hungry or disappointed. Bouillabbaise is one of my favs. Great whiskey and wine list. UPDATE: Been coming here for years. Never had a bad meal or service. My husband and I were here last night...The Portuguese seafood stew is unbelievable. Broth is so flavorful and loaded with seafood, which is all cooked perfectly. My husband had the filet and said it was the best one he's had in a long time. Mike(?the guy with the amazing beard) our server, was really great...he's waited on us a few times and always been really friendly, attentive and great to talk to.

Burger and apple desert were so good I'm going back for another round! Bailey, our waitress, was very friendly and informative.

Slightly overpriced for the location and the food that is served.

Menu is amazing! Big alcohol selection, and nice specialty drinks. Great staff! Make sure you take a big table it's hard to resist, you're going to need the space.
