Crown - Tacoma

The restaurant offers an excellent, hearty, and flavorful meal. The goat stuffed dates are a must-try. The staff is friendly and attentive. Don't miss out on the kebab skewers.

We hadn't been to Crown Restaurant in a few years and decided to give it a try. One thing that surprised us was that there was no table service. We had to order everything at the counter, including our food. There was a cashier who took our orders and brought the food to our table, which was a new experience for us. My wife enjoyed her pork chop (as the rock steak was unavailable), and my burger was decent, although the sandwich was soggy and fell apart easily. I had to use just one fork to eat the meat. I was disappointed that my fries (which were supposed to come with the meal) only arrived after I had finished my burger, as the chef had forgotten them. The ketchup brought to us was good, but there was some confusion about it. Overall, I wanted to like this place and will give it another try in the future, but it seemed more like a bar than a restaurant. The bartender and staff were friendly, but it felt like there was a lack of communication between the kitchen and the front of the house. Despite any personal issues or supply chain problems they may be facing, when paying $80 for dinner, we expected better service.

The best wings and sauces in Tacoma can be found at this establishment. The signature "creepy" sauce is a must-try. The Crown Bar has a true industrial vibe and is a popular spot for bartenders, locals, and those in the neighboring area. It's a place where bikers, industry workers, and regular folks gather for wings, burgers, and beer. The atmosphere is perfect for engaging conversations with a diverse crowd. This is a place where you won't encounter the typical Pacific Northwest chill or standoffishness.

We came before a couple of weeks, just after a beer and eat something. we order a few appetizers for the table and a larger plate. first, only half of our appetizers came out and they were so amazing about salt that we couldn't even eat them. we're not people to send food back, but we had to get it so bad. our other food comes approx. 45 minutes later out and half is cold. we asked our missing appetizers, and they just said, "oh, I don't know. I will take them out of the bill” at this point we didn’t really need more food, but in any case we thought that was a strange answer. my friend had a margarita that tasted like straight sirup (because it was) but my rain was great! idk, unless you are here to make dishes and have a beer that I would go elsewhere

A bit disappointing. Appetizers were great. Service was good but food came out really slow and one entree was cold. I was expecting more.
