Such a nice place for Thanksgiving dinner. Best waitress ever!
Made a reservation. Waited 20 minutes past reservation to be seated (total over 45 minutes of waiting in a clearly formed line in acknowledged). Was never greeted once. Had to approach the staff to let them know. Someone whom I assumed was the manager did not acknowledge any guest or seem to provide direction. He seemed to be running out Togo orders. Once we were seated Jasmine did a wonderful job and was very sweet and prompt. It was not enough to address all the disorganization and lack of process otherwise. Some recommendations: great guests, give realistic expectations (including saying you cannot seat new guests), allocate specific tasks to specific employees to streamline seating and table flipping, close OpenTable reservations if short staffed or apply a cap to reservations. Went there for mothers day brunch and it was rough. Almost no employees to help, unorganized and chaotic. The food was edible but not great and the **** mary’s weren’t drinkable. For it being such a big new hotel in tacoma we expected so much more.
Haley, the server, was professional and polite. Being an open-area food location, this lends to a different flow of greeting and seating that she managed with ease. Ellie brought my food to my table and made sure everything was perfect. I did not expect the garden salad to have a more leafy variety of greens, but Coffee was excellent and seafood chowder was hearty.
