Pacific Brewing West - Tacoma

This revived gem of Tacoma's brewing heritage is undoubtedly the best brewery in the 253! They offer innovative yet authentic beers, with a knowledgeable staff that's friendly and unpretentious. The customer service is spot on! If you're in the area, you definitely need to stop by for a pint or two, or even three. It's a fantastic brewery! Cheers!

Great place with a fun atmosphere, delicious beer, and a kid-friendly vibe! They also offer some tasty snacks. My only complaint is the presence of TVs, which I'm not a huge fan of. The location is charming, and the service was excellent. Jess (I believe her name was) was very helpful and friendly.

Fantastic beer in Tacoma with excellent service! I'm not sure if allowing kids in the bar is a trend on the West Coast, but the presence of a group of overly energetic children running around is the only reason I can't give this place a full 5 stars.

Damn, so sorry to hear that this place is closing : I had eagerly watched the progress on this new brewery and taproom for a long time before they opened only five short years ago September 2014). I was here for Pacific 's opening weekend, and have stopped in many times since. They always have great beer, friendly service, and a positive vibe. Word is, Pacific will continue to brew at a 'sister ' brewery in Edmonds, so the brand isn 't dead yet. I wish them the best in their future endeavors, and hope that they can manage to make a successful comeback to the Tacoma taproom scene!

I wanted to update this review to give some good vibes to Pacific Brewing. This was one of my absolute favorite breweries in Tacoma. Tacoma is full of great beer spots, and out of all of them this was up there top 3 spots. This was one of the only places I filled up growlers because the price was great and the beer was amazing!! I never had a single bad or low experience here and I hope they land on their feet!! Good luck and hope to see you again around at the brewpubs, but more importantly at a new location in the greater Tacoma Area!!
