Rosewood Cafe - Tacoma

My friend and I had a wonderful lunch at this sweet hidden restaurant in a neighborhood restaurant that serves lunch and dinner. We wach had a sandwich and we agreed very tasty and filling. Our server was so cheerful and managed the entire restaurant with exceptional organized service to all 20 tables. The only negative was the turkey soup was pure salt flavor and the chatter of people is echoing as there are only hard surfaces. Still I highly recommend and we will go back.

Parking: Only a few dedicated parking spots and while there is street parking on a busy day at rosewood sometimes you have to park a bit far. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly mostly. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, just may have a hard time squeezing through the tables and chairs.

Randomly saw this place nestled in a residential neighborhood and decided to stop in. Very glad that I did ? Nice comfortable atmosphere, very clean place. Got a great sandwich and then a beer that I sat outside on their available benches to drink. Absolutely nothing bad to say about this place, will be

The oatmeal chocolate chip cookies ? are the best! Great service and people! Always very nice and friendly.

On DoorDash, I’d give it a 5/5 but in person it’s a 3/5. In person, expect to spend 30-40 minutes for your food no matter what you order. Our first time in person we thought it was a fluke since it was a sunny summer day but today we went again to give it another try for lunch and it took 35 minutes after ordering two regular sandwiches! People all around us were waiting quite a bit for their food too. That being said, the food is always good. We’ll order again for delivery, just not a fan of waiting that long for our food.
