Texas De Brazil – Tacoma

First time and my family loved it. Read the recent reviews about the service and “water” issues and that probably helped with any confusion about what we were getting just regular tap water. Plenty of meats coming around and our server took good care of us. Asked repeatedly if they could bring any other meats over. It’s spendy, so not a frequent outing, but good for a special occasion or when you wants very good meat

Our server and the server in training who were helping us were amazing. The food was also amazing. However, I was disappointed because I specifically requested in writing to have a table up against the wall for husband's birthday. I saw this request on our reservation ticket that was placed on our table as well. When we arrived, they placed us at a table right in the middle, I asked to be moved to vacant tables by the walls and they said no, because they like to keep those open for larger parties. Later on I saw a party of TWO and a party of THREE seated at those tables. We were a party of three. The person at the front desk acted very put out and begrudgingly put us by the hostess station, not what I'd asked for but better than the middle. When I'm paying for a fancy meal, it'a very disappointing to have my requests not be considered, particularly because I made this request nearly a week in advance in order to make sure we could have a table out of the way. This has honestly soured my experience I've been to Texas de Brazil several times and I'm not sure I'll be coming back. I'd rather go to Seattle or Bellevue as I've never had seating concerns at both of the Brazilian restaurants there

Visit now on our list of most go back. Salad bar wonderful. Best assortment of meat

No notification that we would be charged for water. Or ice cream with our desert. Kinda disappointing
