The Original Pancake House - Tacoma

Service was extremely slow and parking is very limited. Also portions are not the same as I’ve had at other Original Pancake House locations.

Our waiter acted like he needed a hearing aid and this is not being sarcastic or mean, but he kept saying"huh, or he'd reply with something else that wasn't according to what we were asking him. We forgot his name because we didn't hear him say his name even when we asked him twice.Patricia, the drink server was vibrant, jolly, friendly, and happy. She greeted us with a jolly attitude.Food is good.

Wonderful food and service. Bacon, eggs and waffles. Yummy!

They were pretty busy when we went, but you can check into the waiting list online ahead of time so that helps. I had the Cornbeef Hash and my wife had the pancakes. It was absolutely an amazing breakfast. The coffee is really great, nice and strong, not watered down like a lot of places. We got our food pretty quick and our waitress didnt forget about us after it arrived. I had a side of French toast with my breakfast and it was REALLY good. HIGHLY recommend this for breakfast.

I rarely come for breakfast but it was a nice treat to go have breakfast with my wife so we came to Original pancakes house. We were greeted and sat right away. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes and wifey had the strawberry crepes. I was so excited but as I was spreading the butter over the pancakes there was a hair… errrr I immediately lost my appetite, I finally got a managers attention and she apologized, had it remade, they also took it off my bill. Overall despite the hair everything else taste ok. The chicken sausage was a bit dry and burnt. Food runner and server wasn’t that happy she didn’t look like she wanted to be there. Probably not will be back again.
