New Standard Tandoori - Tadley

Had a takeaway delivered from New Standard Tandoori last night. We thought it would have been delivered a lot quicker on a Monday night (took about as we lived nearby but can't complain about the food which very nice and good quality. A bit greasy but that's pretty normal for an Indian! Will use again.

Tried for the first time last night and I have to say brilliant !! Service was a bit long but the food is so good you forget about that,I have a lot of Indian food and this is one of the best I've had

Very good food,made to feel very welcome,will definitely be back again !! Traveld from Purley-on-Thames and it's a shame it's just that bit too far for a Take away !! Very very good

The best Indian food I've ever had (including London). The owners and staff are welcoming and hospitable. Although it's small, the atmosphere is warm and charming with attractive decor. Reasonably good wine list. We dine there regularly.

This small, modern restaurant is nothing if not bijou', being tastefully decorated and having only about tables. The food is quite possibly some of the best Indian food I've had the pleasure of eating. Fresh flavours, carefully cooked and beautifully presented.The service (whilst very friendly) seems to have slowed somewhat recently, and you can find yourself waiting for some time. That said, the food goes some way to compensate, and I hope that this is just a temporary setback.
