Rich menus prepared and decorated with dedication, the service is a bit direct but for a village restaurant the level is high.
Despite veloklamotten we were very friendly at the gasthof st. martin. the sunday menu - calf-sealed with pear sauce, poppy spets, red herb and an inlaid (?) birne - tasted very well. the price-performance ratio was especially true in the sight that our main course with appetizer (no) and dessert (vermicelles) could have been enjoyed for chf 45.
On a hot day, the salads served on the wonderfully shaded terrace (salt cheese with greyerzer and mixed salad with pouletbrust) were just the right one. really made with whipped and served with a lot of whistle through the humorous service flott. good value for money. happy again!
The local is just the right for language lovers and gourmets. the local kitchen is modernly interpreted, but without much of it. Just the right for lovers of fresh and local cuisine.A plus is the shaded terrace where you can eat or drink under a chestnut tree.
