JJ's Seafood Village - Tagbilaran

We just ate there a while ago and it is the most disgusting and horrific experience here in tagbilaran. First of all the place is so gloomy. And we ordered our food. First is our birds nest soup with quail eggs. Unfortunately it also has insect on the soup and i already took 2 spoonful when i saw the insect. And we are so furious that we called for the manager but the staff said that they have no manager at that time (around 7-8pm) because he/she went home so we called for any one that we can talk regarding this issue. And a supervisor came over in where her only solution to the problem is scratch off the soup and not to pay with it. Secondly we ordered lumpiang shanghai in where on our first bite we taste rancid meat we also complained about it and was asking for the chef to come over but to no avail and their answer is just it is just their recipe( so their recipe was to serve rancid meat) lastly we also ordered spare ribs with black beans in where the meat was also rancid and taste awful. So we did not finish our meal and just pay the bill in full with no solutions or compensation frim the management. Hopefully you will not eat here anymore for those that can read my review of this horrible place.

The photo shown is not the hotel entrance. its round the back. This hotel HAS NO HOT WATER. THIS HOTEL HAS NO BAR. It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. A terrible mistake. The room looks at several large blue tanks. The restaurant is terrible. we went in to get a snack and ordered a coffee and chicken sandwich. after a considerable wait, the coffee was a cup of hot water and a sachet of coffee. the sandwich was slightly toast three rounds of thick bread ( cold ) with what tasted like fish inbetween two of the slices !!!. we went out. we tried break fast well eggs and bacon !! we got a banana, bacon that was too hard to eat cold over cooked eggs ans a piece of ?? hot cake ( cold ) we went out for breakfast. this is the worst place ever....... TO BE AVOIDED

I went here based upon recommendations from some locals I know. They usually have given me good tips on places to eat, but this was terrible. Very cold food and warm beer. They even managed to screw up the rice which I thought was impossible but it was so dry, our dog wouldn't even eat it.

The food is not so good and over-priced. The staff are not accomodating and the place is dirty and not good for a memorabl dining. Will not recommend this to my friends nor business associates.

It's a low to middle range restaurant where they serve Chinese food and are specialists in seafood. I only eat the pork, chicken, rice and vegetables .The first meat that was served was nearly cold (pork), and this should be warm.The sweet and sour chicken dish did not taste very much like sweet and sour. Unsure what's missing. The Corn soup was excellent and is highly recommended!The Sisig pork was very god and was served warm directly from the frying pan. Great!A bit expensive to be in the Philippines with around 400 pesos per head.
