Kasagpan Resort - Tagbilaran

We only stayed a night but wished we stayed longer. This is the best accommodation we have had so far in the Philippines (out of 5). It definitely has the standing of a 4 stars, maybe a 5. Unfortunately it is quite far from town and Bohol's attractions but Kasagpan's environment is worth it : 2 outdoor pools and a beautiful garden. The staff is extremely friendly and the hotel offers free airport/pier transfer. The food at the restaurant serves very good Indian or Filipino food. We had a wonderful stay at Kasagpan and recommend it a 100% as it is good value for money.

First I want to start off by saying the Owner of this resort is very kind, understanding and accommodating. We are very appreciative of this. The resort itself is beautiful and quiet. Normally there are two pools, one of which is an amazing infinity pool overlooking the ocean. The restaraunt, however, is managed seperately. We did not have a very good experience here and the menu had a very poor choice of food. There are literally two options: filipino food (which is an obvious option being in Philippines) and the second is Indian food. I am not sure who in their right mind decided that there should only be indian food as the only other available food option at a resort, but there you have it. Anyway, the place is beautiful, but could definitely use a menu make over.

I heard about Kasagpan before but everytime I go there, it is closed. Glad I finally have the chance to experience and taste their Indian food with friends. Everything is good except for the lassi, one of my favorite drinks, which is just like diluted Yakult. Also, I am amused when they offer beef curry when the resto is supposed to be Indian. Overall, the place is good for intimate dinner. The sunset, if you have the chance to witness it, is good. Maybe they got their name from this event.

If you're looking for a quick dip in the city with a great view then this place is a must visit. There is a fee to use the pool and it is not consumable at the restaurant. Also, we were not given towels so best to bring your own.

The Mediterranean food they serve is superp and legit. Their location has the best sunset view on a clear sky.
