One of our group members doesn't like soup, but it was great that they were able to request a dry meal instead. However, the prices are a bit high considering you only get noodles in the soup if you opt for a lower cost. We paid 195B for two dishes. It's disappointing to see that many ingredients are packaged in plastic.
At first, we were unsure of how to place our order at this restaurant. A friendly staff member explained the process to us, and we then noticed the instructions displayed on a shield. You start by selecting a basket and filling it with the ingredients you want in your noodle dish. There are also name plates on the wall indicating the different types of noodles available. We opted for handmade hand-drawn noodles and knife-cut noodles. Next, you choose your broth at the counter. We selected sesame and Four Spirits broth, which was particularly flavorful and comforting. The noodles are served in a bowl, while the broth and additional ingredients are served in a larger bowl. If you run out of soup, the staff will refill it for you.
I absolutely love this restaurant. They offer a variety of vegetable options, 10 types of noodles to choose from, and 6 different types of soup. I tried the 4 seasons soup and it was incredibly delicious. This is definitely one of the best noodle spots in Taiwan.
This place lived up to expectations of the great reviews. It is a really beautiful place and a great concept. You choose your ingredients that include several types of amazing mushrooms, filled meatless balls, seaweed, dried and fresh tofu, several types of spinach, pak choi and green, sweet peppers, broccoli, baby corn, bitter gourd, eggplant and more! There are 4 different soup bases and about 19 different types of noodles. You can also add delicious spices such as Satay sauce, chilli, vinegar. The service was fast. The food was delicious. Everything was marked in English. Totally vegan. Very recommended.
I love this place! I was initially a bit confused when I entered the restaurant as I expected a traditional restaurant with menus, but was pleasantly surprised by the fact that you hand select your own noodles, tofu, greens, vegan meats and fish balls into a shopping basket. They cook it for you and you decide which broth you want for your noodles, or you can eat it dry and mix in your own sauces at the sauce station (there is one non vegan sauce but it is clearly labelled). I love that you can completely customize your own noodles you can always switch up the noodles, toppings, and broths to create a completely new dish.
